CertaPro Painters of Charleston, SC is seeking independent subcontractor commercial painting crews that are looking for stable work and dependable pay in the Charleston, SC market. We are currently hiring crews sized between 2-5 painters.

Pay with Bonus - On average, crews that complete contracts within budgeted hours make a minimum equivalent of $25.00/hour. After 6 months, we pay monthly production bonuses to painters that exceed their targeted production goals. Our pay structure rewards experience and production. We pay a flat rate per contract that directly rewards painters for completing their projects under budget.
Dependable Pay - We pay out twice per week on completed projects so subcontractors have steady income.

Requirements
- Subcontractor company owner must be eligible for hire in the US with proper documentation
- Lead painter on crew must speak English
- Minimum (2) years of professional commercial painting experience
- Carry general liability and workers compensation insurance (GL $1M/$2M ; WC $500K)
- Own proper painting tools and equipment
- Experience with aerial lift equipment (preferred)
- Quality conscious and detail-oriented
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Reliable vehicle and unrestricted driver's license
Responsibilities:
- Perform all task associated with a commercial repaint project
- Completes set-up duties at the job site, i.e moving items, covering items with sheeting and covering floors with drop cloths for interior jobs or power/hand-washing for exterior jobs
- Prepares surfaces for painting, which includes repairing holes and cracks, sealing stains, and sanding surfaces for interior jobs or removing loose paint, scuff sanding areas, and caulking gaps to prevent water intrusion for exterior jobs
- Cleans up daily and after job is complete, which includes moving all items back to desired locations and sweeping/vacuuming floors and carpets for interior jobs, removing paint chips or other debris for exterior jobs, and removing all job materials.
- Inspects work to ensure that job is 100% complete at the highest quality before reviewing the project with the customer to ensure their complete satisfaction
- Understands and executes work orders in a timely and professional manner
- Maintains strict attention to detail when working at customer’s property
- Maintains clean, organized work areas, securely stores equipment and supplies by always respecting the clients and the clients' property
- Follows all safety policies and procedures
- Participates in Production and Safety meetings, educational opportunities, etc. as requested/required
