As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a Commercial Painting Sales Associate who is passionate about B2B sales and building long-term customer relationships.
Position Overview
As a Commercial Painting Sales Associate, you’ll be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing client accounts, and guiding prospects through the sales process—from first contact to signed proposal. You’ll work closely with our internal teams to ensure that each project is executed smoothly and meets client expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships with property managers, facility managers, and industrial/commercial clients
- Proactively prospect new business through cold calling, networking, and industry events
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads and ongoing opportunities
- Conduct on-site meetings and collaborate with the Commercial Estimator to create accurate proposals
- Ensure clear communication of project expectations to the production team and clients
- Represent CertaPro at industry events and trade shows
- Track and report on sales metrics and prepare weekly progress reports
- Collaborate with the Marketing Associate, Production Associate, and Job Site Supervisor to ensure project delivery aligns with client expectations
Qualifications
- Previous B2B sales experience (commercial or industrial sales strongly preferred)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Self-motivated and results-driven with a track record of success
- Familiarity with painting, coatings, carpentry, drywall, EIFS/DRYVIT, or construction is a plus
- Organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office is preferred
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (required)
