Role Overview
As a Sales Associate, you will be the face of CertaPro Painters to both residential homeowners and light commercial clients (including property managers and realty partners). You will complete a structured training program to master our systems, tools, and sales process—preparing you to meet clients, conduct measurements, prepare estimates (with office support), and present proposals.
Key Responsibilities
· Training (First 15 Days): Learn CertaPro systems, attend corporate online training, and participate in in-person training at our Philadelphia office.
· Client Engagement: Contact company-provided leads, schedule meetings, assess projects, take accurate measurements, and present proposals to both residential and commercial clients.
· Follow-Up & Sales: Maintain regular follow-ups with clients to close deals.
· Project Coordination: Collaborate with subcontractors, monitor progress, participate in project handovers, and conduct final client visits.
· Technology: Use Microsoft Office confidently; training provided for CertaPro’s software and AI tools.
· Professional Development: Attend regional/national training conferences to stay up-to-date on industry trends.
· Assessment: All selected candidates must complete a Caliper test and a final interview with the General Manager – Development from CertaPro’s corporate office.

Requirements
· Fluent in English, with strong communication and organizational skills
· Minimum 10 years of overall work experience in any field
· At least 2 years of sales experience (Canada-specific experience not mandatory)
· Must be comfortable meeting residential homeowners and commercial clients (property managers, realtors, etc.) with professionalism and patience
· Ability and willingness to travel daily for client meetings and project assessments
· Eagerness to learn — painting industry experience not required; full training provided
