CertaPro of Katy is looking for an enthusiastic and driven sales associate to sell our painting services to residential customers.  In-home client consultation is the number one responsibility.  Applying active-listening, information-seeking, and relationship-building skills are a must.  Our customers expect your undivided attention, your expertise, and professional standpoint regarding their painting demands.  We believe that genuine interest and clear communication go a long way when trying to gain our potential customer's trust and business. 
Project management complete the skillset required for this role, as won projects need detailed follow-up throughout their fulfillment phase.

Responsibilities:  

·        Conduct consultative sales appointments with potential customers at their home.  Show up, on time and ready to exceed their expectations.  Display attitudes that build customer relationships and win their trust and business.  Sales leads are generated by national corporate programs and robust marketing campaigns.  No cold calls.
·        Create customized estimates for customers based on their needs.  Be observant and offer services that might have been missed.  Make sure that estimates are complete and detailed.  Our estimates must be an accurate description of our offer/commitment to our customers as well as a detailed set of instructions as to the work that our painting crews are to complete.  
·        Land the sale.    Estimates must be presented to our potential customers at the end of the sale appointment. Review it with the customer for accuracy.   Follow-up with each potential customer. 
·        Be an effective participant in the delivery of the job.  Customers require our presence and attention during the delivery process.  Provide updates, support the JSSs and crews, and update the estimates as soon as possible to reflect additions to the job.  
·       Document activities in CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system. 
·        CertaPro has defined processes that distinguish us from our competitors.  Invest time and effort in learning and training opportunities.
·        Promote the benefits and value that Certapro of Katy provides its customers.  Be an active participant in sales efforts and marketing programs.  Win our customers' positive reviews (Google).

Qualifications: 

·        2+ year degree in related field and/or prior sales experience as in-home sales within the construction or painting industry (preferred but not required) 
·        Driver’s License with clean driving record 
·        Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills 
·        Team player, organized, and energetic 
·        Project management, time management, and problem-solving skills  
·        Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays  
·        Bilingual in Spanish is a plus

Flexible work from home options available.

Compensation: $30,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
