Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable, solutions-oriented Warranty Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for assessing and resolving warranty-related issues for residential and commercial painting projects. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, professional with customers, and capable of performing hands-on repair work when needed.

During slower periods or downtime, this role will also assist with miscellaneous field tasks, punch list items, shop organization, small maintenance projects, and other operational support duties as assigned.

Key Responsibilities

  •  Visit residential and commercial job sites to assess warranty concerns 
  •  Identify causes of paint/coating failures, touch-up needs, or workmanship concerns 
  •  Document findings with notes and photos 
  •  Communicate professionally with customers regarding findings and next steps 
  •  Schedule and complete warranty repairs and touch-up work when appropriate 
  •  Coordinate larger repairs with production management 
  •  Maintain organized records of warranty visits and resolutions 
  •  Ensure all work is completed safely and professionally 
  •  Represent the company in a positive and customer-focused manner 
Downtime / Additional Responsibilities

When warranty demand is low, the Warranty Specialist may be assigned to:

  •  Punch list and touch-up work 
  •  Small painting or repair projects 
  •  Shop and equipment organization 
  •  Material deliveries or pickups 
  •  Assisting production teams as needed 
  •  Property maintenance and miscellaneous operational tasks 
  •  Supporting field managers with project closeouts 
Qualifications

  •  Prior 3-5 years painting or coatings experience preferred 
  •  Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills 
  •  Comfortable interacting directly with customers 
  •  Ability to work independently and manage time effectively 
  •  Basic understanding of residential and commercial painting systems 
  •  Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation 
  •  Ability to lift materials and work on ladders when necessary 
  •  Strong attention to detail and workmanship quality

Compensation & Benefits
